Shilpa Shetty erupted onto the Indian film scene a couple years ago in the film Baazigar, where she won critical acclaim and many nominations for her work. Born in Tamil Nadu, Shilpa began her career in Soth Indian films, and has since branched out with many successful films in both markets such as Pardesi Babu, Dhadkan, and Aag. Shilpa Shetty is known throughout India as being one of the most beautiful and fit of actresses in Bollywood. She is known the only actress to do a split for one of her films and is a very talented dancer. Shilpa also has a black belt in karate and was the baseball captain for her high school's team. Many regard her as a true natrual beauty and one of Bollywood's finest actresses today. |
